Surprise proposals are a lot of fun. I love waiting for our couple to show up, keep an eye out for the signal, and capture the big moment. It sometimes makes me nervous because I really want things to go according to plan. But I know sometimes things go differently as planned but it’s usually better!
In this case, Mount Bonnell was the location where the magic was going to happen. I figured it would be busy but geez! It was super packed that day! Sam and I realized it was because it was Labor Day weekend, and everyone was out and about enjoying their day off.
Since it was really packed, I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to capture the big moment. I had a few people walk in front of me during which was super frustrating. But thankfully, it cleared up right when James got on one knee! It was super sweet, and she had no idea this was all planned out! It was a really cute moment, and I’m so happy I was there to capture the whole thing!
