Pedernales Falls State Park Engagement Session | Austin Wedding Photographer
Photographing at a new location is always a blast! We get to see new things, whip up new ideas, and try new poses! For this photo shoot, we decided to head to Pedernales Falls State Park. Sam and I have been there before for a family gathering, but we’ve never actually photographed there professionally. One thing we definitely forgot from our last outing was, IT IS A BIG HIKE!
Going down to the area we picked wasn’t all that bad. But coming back up with heavy equipment - ouchie! I don’t think Sam and I have given each other the same look so many times. (We’re out of shape!) Gym membership anyone?
Even though it was an overall hike, everything was just PERFECT! It wasn’t too hot, or too cold. And thankfully, the weather let up just in time. It wasn’t supposed to rain that day, but good ol’ Texas likes to change course sometimes. It began to sprinkle here and there, but once we got started, everything stopped. One of my favorite parts of the shoot was the clouds! They really came out to play, and made a gorgeous background along with what we were already dealing with. It was just breathtaking!
Along with a gorgeous background, we had an amazing couple to work with! We loved their laughter, and loving giggles throughout the shoot. It always brings us joy when we can see the love just bursting out through the photo shoot. It makes our job easier when we see our couples snuggling the entire time. ;)
